Template:Orphan Rosemary Burnett is the former head of Amnesty International (Scotland) having left the position in January 2007 to contest the 2007 Scottish Parliament Election as a Scottish Green Party candidate.[1] She was second on the Greens Party's "list" for the Glasgow region.[2] However, she failed to get elected as the party's share of the list vote actually decreased in the election.[3] She is currently working for the Guatemala Solidarity Network, having worked as a human rights observer and women's rights worker in Guatemala.[4]
